Entry Information

Parade Day Responsible Adult

This person is responsible for the application, media package and payment of the bill. This person will also be with the entry on Parade Day and is responsible for all participants following directions and abiding by the Rules and Regulations. The Responsible Adult will address questions and deficiencies with Parade officials if necessary. He/she will ensure he/she has signed parental permission for every minor participating without the presence of his/her parent and adequate adult supervision for every youth in the entry. Such documents must be available upon request the morning of the Parade and must accompany the entry.

About Your Entry

Requirements:

All entries must be Western, Mexican, Native American or old-fashioned. All applications MUST include a narrative announcer’s script (no longer than six lines) for TV, grandstand, judging and publicity. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT AN ANNOUNCER’S SCRIPT.

Equipment

Tucson Rodeo Parade Equipment Rules & Regulations

  • No motor vehicles, bicycles, roller skates, pull carts, wagons, or dogs.

  • Units with automobile tires must be completely skirted and weighted to the ground, (burlap or durable cloth of plain color is preferred).

  • All horse-drawn vehicles must be in good mechanical condition and will be subject to a safety inspection by TRP officials for a braking system, a six-foot jerk line, and harness of good repair.

  • All hitches must have a handler, on the ground, walking the route with the unit. All hitches in excess of two horses must have a minimum of two handlers, on the ground, walking the route with the unit. These handlers are in addition to horseback outriders which participate in the entry.

Advertising Sign Fees

Advertising signs must be in proportion to the size of the wagon. All entrants MUST pay in advance for sign options.
Advertising Fee Options

Option C: Two (2) 4' x 8' signs$350

Announcer's Script

Entries will not be accepted without an announcer's script.

Release and Consent

In consideration of acceptance of participation in the Tucson Rodeo Parade, I agree to release and shall indemnify the Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee Inc., The Tucson Rodeo Committee, The City of Tucson, from all and every claim for damages which may be made on my behalf or on behalf of any individual under my supervision at any time hereafter against said organizations, their officers, and members, or any of them, by reason of any matter, thing, condition, negligence, or default, or any person whatsoever, in the Tucson Rodeo Parade, or any of them given by, or under the direction of the said Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee, February 20, 2025. I further agree to accept the conditions of this contract.

You’re completed, signed and/or electronically submitted Application Form is your RECEIPT OF SUBMITION, on behalf of your entry and all your entry’s participants, of ALL Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee (TRPC) Rules and Regulations.


The Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee assumes no responsibility in connections with and makes no representation as to the safety of any parade entry, in whole or in part, solely by reason of compliance with TRPC’s Rule and Regulations.


All applications are reviewed prior to acceptance. We reserve the right to screen (and potentially reject) any application. A packet containing your line-up instructions will be mailed to you two weeks prior to Parade Day. (If you have not received your entry instructions packet by Feb. 14, please contact the parade office at (520) 294-1280.
